The Mystery of the Ghost Train: A Scary Horror Story for Kids
The night air was cold enough to freeze water, but Golu and Molu were just trying to find shelter from the heavy rain. While searching for cover, they stumbled upon a dark, abandoned railway station at the edge of town. Rusting iron pillars held up a broken roof, and the train tracks were choked with overgrown weeds, fallen trees, and mud.
"This station and these tracks have been abandoned for around 100 years," Molu whispered, looking nervously at the rotting wooden benches.
Suddenly, a loud CLANG echoed through the foggy night.
A massive, jet-black ghost train rolled out of the thick mist, coming to a silent stop right in front of them. It had no headlights, no engine noise, and no visible driver. Driven by curiosity—and a sudden, unnerving chill—Golu and Molu stepped inside the creepy carriage.
They were the only two passengers on the entire mysterious train.
The Creepy Tea Vendor
The train's interior was lined with dusty velvet seats that smelled like ancient earth. As soon as they sat down, the train lurched forward with incredible speed, traveling on abandoned train tracks that hadn't seen a locomotive in a century.
Suddenly, the heavy door at the end of the aisle slid open.
Clink... clink... clink...
A tall, pale tea vendor carrying an old metal kettle walked down the aisle. He stopped right beside their seat, bent down, and stared straight into their eyes. His face slowly stretched into a horrible, unnaturally wide smile that reached almost to his ears.
"Fresh tea... for the forgotten souls?" he rasped, his eyes completely black.
Golu and Molu shook their heads in pure terror, holding onto each other. The creepy tea man kept smiling his menacing grin, backed away without blinking, and disappeared into the darkness of the next car.
The Spooky Forest Stop
Before the boys could breathe a sigh of relief, the spooky train slammed on its brakes with a ear-piercing screech.
Outside the window, there was no platform—just a pitch-black, haunted forest. The carriage doors hissed open. Heavy, wet footsteps echoed down the aisle.
A mysterious lady dressed in torn, ancient clothes stepped onto the train. Her long hair covered her face, and when she slowly lifted her head, her eyes glowed with a faint, ghostly blue light. The boys shrank back into their seats in absolute horror as she took a slow step toward them...
The Shared Nightmare Twist
"Golu! Wake up!"
Molu sat up with a gasp, drenched in cold sweat. The morning sun was shining softly through his bedroom window. Across the room, Golu jumped out of his bed, breathing heavily and looking around terrified.
"Molu!" Golu cried out. "I just had the worst scary dream! There was an abandoned train station, a creepy tea vendor with a terrifying smile, and a ghost lady in a dark forest!"
Molu froze, the color draining completely from his face.
"Wait..." Molu whispered, his voice trembling. "How is it possible that we both had the exact same horror dream?"
Before Golu could answer, a soft, chilling sound came from right outside their bedroom door.
Clink... clink... clink...
And a raspy voice whispered through the keyhole:
"Tea is served, boys..."
